What is a TBF Premium Membership?

The Bass Federation has added a series of premium membership packages that give a new meaning to “membership has it’s privileges.” Members can sign up for a silver (two-year), gold (three-year) or five-year platinum plan and receive deeper discounts with each level on such things as hotels, rental cars, cruises and online shopping. The idea is not only to encourage members to sign up for longer periods, but to give those members who make a commitment to the Federation a reward by providing a mechanism for them to use and have the opportunity to save more money than the Premium Membership costs. In effect, making membership in TBF “No Cost”.

What TBF wanted to do with Premium Memberships is come up with multi-year, value-added membership that the members have been asking for and do it on a purely optional basis. It also makes it easier for members who won’t have to renew their memberships every year. The basic premise of premium level memberships is if they will use the benefits attached to the premium levels, they will actually save time and money, and TBF is willing to guarantee that.

How Much Does a Premium Membership Cost?

Platinum Memberships are $600 for 5 years.

Gold Memberships are $450 for 3 years.

Silver Memberships are $300 for 2 years.

The Premium Membership does cost more than the usual $15 yearly membership dues, but the benefits with a Premium Membership far outweigh the other, plus it will be easier by having a multiple-year membership.

How Can You Benefit From Being a Premium Member?

The Premium memberships include BOTH TBF and FLW Outdoors memberships for the designated lengths in a one-stop shopping environment, making joining trouble-free and easy. Each level also includes varying discounts of up to 50% off on varying groups of merchants and amounts for things like rental cars, hotels, dining, travel, heath and beauty, online shopping, cruises and more.

The higher the level of membership the more options you get to choose from and more you benefit.
Each level of premium membership will have its own toll free call in number for questions or assistance in finding a discount retailer in your area or the area you’re going to, in order to help you save money.

TBF Online ‘Members-Only’ Store

TBF has launched a new “TBF Members Only” online store at www.bassfederation.com. The store will tie into the premium membership levels, the higher the level of premium membership you have the higher level of discount you get. Up to 50% and more in some cases! The store will also give TBF members a secure place to shop for a variety of products with fantastic savings. TBF will have some great deals on fishing items in the store, but also plan on offering some hunting and outdoors equipment from time to time as well since so many of our members are also avid hunters and campers. The best part is not only will TBF members be rewarded with some great discounts on items they use but TBF will earmark all proceeds from the TBF Online Store to directly support TBF Youth and Conservation programs. So with every purchase a member is doing their part to support the next generation of anglers.

TBF Premium Membership FAQs

Do I have to fish to be a Premium Member?

No, you do not! Premium Members are not required to fish in any tournaments at all or be a member of a club. Being a Premium Member definitely has it’s perks, but fishing isn’t required! TBF actually has plans to add hunting and outdoor equipment to the online ‘Members Only’ store. The potential of the savings can be great.

What if I am already a TBF/FLW member?

We understand that some members will have already paid their TBF and FLW Outdoors dues and that’s great! We will make sure you get credit back for it if you want to get started saving by getting a premium membership.
