Neely Henry Lake in Gadsden AL has the Southern Divisional Championship day 1 contenders scratching for limits.  84 Anglers from 7 states began the day at the early morning takeoff at 5:30 AM with all anglers hoping for a 5 fish limit.

Joe Eubanks of the Georgia Team leads Day 1 with 5 fish totaling 16-03.  In 2nd Place with 5 fish we have Todd Rackley of Alabama 5 fish 15-04 and 3rd Pl Richard Philllips of Alabama with 14-16

At the registration all state wanted to have a Optional Big Bass jackpot.  Each state paid $120.00 to procure a Overall Big Bass Jackpot for the largest bass of the entire event.   Currently the leader is Mark Lundgren of Florida with a 4-06 Largemouth.

Proving to be a tight race Neely Henry coughed up 48 five fish Limits on Day 1.  With double digit weights the top 27 places currently range from 16-03 lbs for the leader with 27th Place only trailing with a total weight of 10-05

All 84 anglers came across the Stage to weigh 1 or more fish.
