April 27, 2011 – After a week of strong winds and rough prefish conditions, 58 of the best Northwest Division anglers set out on calm winds this morning. Fishing conditions should be good for the first day of competition. The forecast for the week is fairly stable and should yield good limits of smallmouth on the Columbia River. Limits of fish have been reported in prefish and we’ll see if mother nature cooperates this afternoon. Weigh-in will start at 2:30 pacific standard time at Hood River Marina.
