2024 District 22 National Semi Finals Nevada and Utah

The Nevada Bass Federation hosted the 2024 District 22 NSF event June 1-2, 2024 on Lake Mead at Callville Bay Marina outside of Las Vegas, NV. Day one anglers had calm morning with winds picking up in the afternoon. On day two winds were fairly calm but both days anglers had to endure temperatures hovering around 100 degrees and warm winds out of the south. Lake Mead was fishing good with a lot of fish up shallow and anglers taking advantage of the reaction bite totaling 243 fish weighed in and a total combined weight of 490.78 pounds.

After two days of competition Utah angler Jade Larson with a two-day total of 25.41 is the 2024 District 22 National Semi-Finals Champion Boater. Jade Larson will represent Utah at the 2025 National Championship. Finishing second was Nevada angler Antonio Herring with a two-day total of 25.38 pounds. Antonio Herring with represent Nevada at the 2024 National Championship. Finishing third was Jaxon Gochis from Utah with a two-day total of 23.38 pounds, fourth was Joe Johnson from Utah with a two-day total of 22.23 pounds, fifth was Rick Taylor of Utah with a two-day total of 22.00 pounds, sixth was Adam Cacal from Nevada with a two-day total of 21.47 pounds.

On the co-angler side Nevada angler Andrew Hays with a two-day total of 21.01 pounds is the 2024 District 22 National Semi-Finals Champion Co-Angler and will represent Nevada at the 2024 National Championship. Finishing second was Cassandra Jenkins from Utah with a two-day total of 20.83 pounds and will represent Utah at the 2024 National Championship. Finishing third was Braden Dalton with a two-day total of 20.01 pounds, fourth was Christopher Owens from Nevada with a two-day total of 19.99 pounds, fifth was Jake Tooner from Utah with a two-day total of 19.76 pounds, sixth was Kenji Olson with a two-day total of 19.73 pounds.

Big Fish overall on the boater side was Antonio with a 4.95 pound largemouth and on the co-angler side was Braden Dalton with a 4.42 pound largemouth.

Congratulations to all of the participants in the District 22 Semi-finals with only 9 fish out of 243 weighed in that were not able to be released back into the lake.

The Nevada Bass Federation maintains bragging rights and The District 22 State Pride Award. The award is determined by adding the weights of the top four boaters and co-anglers from each state selected prior to the event.
