All of the information on this site is copyright The Bass Federation Inc. (TBF) and /or our affiliated State Federation. (hereinafter collectively referred to as “TBF” ). Any unauthorized use or storage of any content that appears on this site, including third-party content, is prohibited.

All newspapers and other accredited media (print, web, TV, radio) may treat most of this content as a newswire provided credit is given to The Bass Federation (TBF) or our applicable and affiliated State Federation.

BassFederation.com and “TBF” and any sites that link to or from “TBF” are accessible worldwide to anyone with Internet access. Access to and use of a “TBF” website and service are subject to the Terms of Use as well as all applicable laws and regulations, including laws and regulations governing copyright and trademark. By accessing a “TBF” site, you accept, without limitation or qualification, all of the terms of use. “TBF” reserves the right to change the Terms of Use. The changes will appear on this screen. By using a “TBF” site, you agree in advance to accept any changes.

This site may contain links to other sites on the Internet/Web that are owned and operated by our affiliated state federations or other third parties. “TBF” explicitly disclaims any responsibility for the accuracy, content or availability of information found on sites that link to or from BassFederation.com. We cannot ensure that you will be satisfied with any products or services that you purchase from a third-party site that links to or from “TBF”.  We do not endorse any of the merchandise, nor have we taken any steps to confirm the accuracy or reliability of any of the information contained in such third-party sites or content. We do not make any representations or warranties as to the security of any information (including, without limitation, credit card and other personal information) you might be requested to give any third party, and you hereby irrevocably waive any claim against “TBF” with respect to such sites and third party content. We strongly encourage you to make whatever investigation you feel necessary or appropriate before proceeding with any online or offline transaction with any of these third parties.

In addition, these sites have their own privacy policies and terms of use that may or may not be similar to ours.

The materials used and displayed on a “TBF” site including but not limited to text, software, photographs, graphics, illustrations and artwork, video, music and sound, and names, logos, trademarks and service marks, are the property of “TBF” or its sponsors/advertisers or licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Any such content may be displayed solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to modify, reproduce, retransmit, distribute, disseminate, sell, publish, broadcast or circulate any such material without the written permission of “TBF” or the appropriate sponsor/advertiser.

Your use of a “TBF” site or any of the sites that may be linked but owned and operated by third parties is at your own risk. Neither “TBF”, nor any of its agents, representatives or licensors shall be liable to you or anyone else for any loss or injury or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or similar damages arising out of your access or use of, or your inability to access or use, the service and the sites and the information available on the service and the sites or arising out of any action taken in response to or as a result of any information available on the service and the sites. You hereby waive any and all claims against “TBF”, and agents, representatives and licensors arising out of your use of the service and the sites and the information available thereon.

To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the functions contained in the materials on “TBF” sites will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that any “TBF” site or the servers that make such materials available are free of viruses or other harmful components. These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these terms shall be filed only in the state or federal courts of Delaware, and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action. If any provision of these terms shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. This is the entire agreement between us relating to the subject matter herein and shall not be modified except in writing, signed by both parties.

Privacy Policy

The following policy outlines the types of information that BassFederation.com (“BassFederation”) gathers from users and the way that the information is used.

The information that BassFederation.com collects from users falls into three general categories:

• Information You Provide to Us; “TBF” or our state federation affiliates  may collect and store information, personal or otherwise, that users voluntarily supply to “TBF” on the BassFederation.com site, via e-mail or text or in any other way. Some examples of this type of information include the information that is submitted (such as name or e-mail address) Phone numbers when users register or opt into our membership program, event communication via text messages or from surveys, sweepstakes or contests, information that users may post on any future message boards, and information contained in search requests or questions users submit to the site. If a user declines to supply or provide us with certain information, “TBF” may not be able to provide that user with some services that are dependent on the collection of this information. However, it is always the members CHOICE to opt in or opt out.
• Information that is Automatically Collected; “TBF” also collects and stores information that is generated automatically as users navigate through the BassFederation.com site. For example, to enhance users’ experience at BassFederation.com, “TBF” uses a standard feature found in browser software called a “cookie.” Cookies are small files that your web browser places on your hard drive for record-keeping purposes. By showing how and when visitors visit BassFederation’s site, cookies help “TBF” track user trends and patterns. They also prevent users from having to re-enter their preferences on certain areas of the site where they have entered preference information before. Another example of information that “TBF” automatically collects as users navigate the site is information about the users’ computer’s connection to the Internet. This information allows “TBF”, among other things, to improve the delivery of its web pages to users and to measure traffic on the “TBF” site.
• Information from Other Sources; “TBF” may also obtain information about users from third parties or other sources and may combine the information that “TBF” receives from them with information “TBF” has already obtained about you.
• BassFederation.com uses the aforementioned information to, among other things, customize features and advertising that appears on the BassFederation.com site. In addition, “TBF” may also provide third parties with information about visitors that will better target ads or services to specific types of visitors.

Therefore, while “TBF” reserves the right to use all info we collect, we will never sale nor transfer your Pii information to a third party. All of the information that is collected about users members or others in any way and for any purpose, with one important exception.  “TBF” will not use the information that is collected, nor will we authorize third parties to use the information that we collect, to mail, text or e-mail promotional offers directly to users unless they have specifically opted in by informing us that they would like to receive promotional offers from us and from our partners. Under these circumstances, a user’s information may be used for direct mail or e-mail marketing. Users can request to be removed from any such list at any time by emailing the webmaster by clicking here.

Please also keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online; for example on message boards, through e-mail, or in chat areas; that it’s possible that that information could be seen, collected and used by others besides “TBF”.  We cannot be responsible for any unauthorized third-party use of information that you disclose online.
