Michigan Youth Bass Fishing Association hosted the 2022 Michigan Bass Federation Jr State Championship on Wampler’s Lake in Onsted, MI on June 11th.
At the end of an extremely tough day of fishing the duo of Collin Balk and Kale Parr from Three Rivers Bass Team brought two fish to the scale and captured the win with 3.45 lbs.
Congratulations to Collin Balk & Kale Parr from Three Rivers Bass Team for taking the title of the MI Bass Federation Jr State Champions. This duo has earned a spot to represent MI at the TBF JR World Championship Tournament on Kentucky Lake, this July. These young anglers are part of a new fishing team started this year by their principal Carrie Balk. They are looking forward to competing in the 2022 TBF JWC representing Michigan.
