TBF DREAM TEAM RALLY SET FOR LAKE HAMILTON, AUG. 12

Ponca City, Okla. (June 26, 2012) — The Bass Federation’s brand new Dream Team Rally team tournament trail is excited to announce the Cedar Creek Bassmasters, club # 10890, of the Indiana Bass Federation will host a dream team rally on Lake Hamilton, in Hamilton, Ind., on August 12.  The Dream Team Rally event is open to ALL TBF members, and  Lake Hamilton is located right in the northeast corner of Indiana; a short drive for both Ohio and Michigan TBF members.  Interested teams can go online at bassfederation.com; Dream Team; to enter, the tourney # is 1022.  ALL interested TBF clubs and state federations can also go online and register to host their own event of their choosing today!  Continue reading

2012 Louisiana Junior State Champions Crowned

La. State Jr. TBF Qualifier. The tournament was on June23-24 on Toledo Bend and Tyler Craig (the one on my right) won the 15-18 age group and Jacob Dupree ( the one in the glasses and on my left) won the 11-14 age group. Tyler had 20.42 and Jacob had 6.76. They will go to Atlanta, Ga. in August to compete at Nationals at the Forrest Wood Cup. here are the results.

University of North Carolina Charlotte, Collegiate Bass Fishing Open Champs

Paris, Tennessee -June 25, 2012 – The University of North Carolina Charlotte “Bass Rats” are the champions of the 2012 Collegiate Bass Fishing Open, presented by Pepsi.  The four angler team of Eric Self, Tyler Beam, Shane Lehew, and Adam Waters amassed a two day total of 41.07 lbs.  They started Day Two in third place, less than three pounds behind the first day leaders, North Carolina State.  In the end, the Bass Rats brought the largest six fish limit of Day 2 to the scales, at 21.41 lbs.  Their haul was more than enough to take home the title, edging out NC State by nearly one pound. Collegiate Bass Fishing Open, Presented by Pepsi kicks off Friday
