Kimball, Tennessee, (April 15, 2011) Torrential downpours didn’t stop the show today as 94 TBF State Champion anglers fought until the bitter end on day two of the 2011 Federation National Championship presented by the National Guard on Lake Nickajack in Kimball, Tenn. 14 TBF anglers advance to the final round to vie for the National Champion titles. These 14 anglers put it all on the line today through the elements and came out 2011 Division Champions earning berths in the BFL All-American. Tomorrow, one boater and one non-boater will be crowned National Champions and receive spots in the 2011 Forrest Wood Cup. The 2011 Federation National Champion boater will also receive the $100,000 “Living the Dream” prize package, including cash and prizes, fully paid entry fees into the FLW tour, travel funds and use of a wrapped Ranger Boat and Chevrolet truck for the year. 2011 Federation National Championship is underway; 94 TBF elite hit ‘em, and hit ‘em hard on Lake Nickajack
The bite is on and the anglers are hungry fighting for a dream they can almost taste; the 2011 TBF National Champion titles and all the glory will be decided this week on Lake Nickajack in Kimball, Tenn. The TBF national champion boater will earn the esteemed $100,000 “Living the Dream” prize package, including cash and prizes, fully paid entry fees into the FLW tour, travel funds and use of a wrapped Ranger Boat and Chevrolet truck for the year. The national champion boater and non-boater will also receive berths in the 2011 Forrest Wood Cup and BFL All-American. There’s a lot on the line for these state champions and the competition is tight. Tomorrow, it’s all or nothing, as the final cut will decide the top 14 division champions, seven on the boater and non-boater sides, who will vie for the 2011 Federation National Champion titles. 2011 Federation National Championship to showcase TBF’s elite, April 12-16, on Nickajack Lake
94 TBF Champions eagerly await the start of TBF’s premier event
Ponca City, Okla., (April 11, 2011) – Kimball, Tenn., will host the widely anticipated 2011 Federation National Championship, presented by the National Guard on Nickajack Lake. For most, it is the trip of a lifetime, a process that started well over a year ago where grassroots anglers nationwide competed in seven TBF divisions to qualify for the no-entry fee 2010 TBF Division Championship Series. From there, the top two anglers from each state advance one boater and one co-angler, to compete in the no-entry fee 2011 Federation National Championship. The field also contains the Association of Collegiate Anglers (ACA) National Champions. 94 total championship anglers will face-off on Nickajack Lake, Thursday, April 14. Continue reading
