
Day 2 leader still Renaud Pelletier with partner from Caldwell, ID Josh Carver
Hood River, Oregon (4/28/11) – After a calm morning of fishing, the West wind decided to appear in the afternoon in Hood River for the weigh-in of Day 2 of the Northwest Divisional Championship, presented by Cabela’s.
Renaud Pelletier continues to lead the tournament after 2 days of fishing on the Columbia River, with a total weight of 35 pounds 9 ounces. Water levels fluctuated all day causing anglers to adjust their fishing patterns to catch fish. Pelletier said that he had a great day of fishing again and credited his partner, Josh Carver of Idaho, with finding some good fish and helped both of them weigh in good limits of fish today. Ponca City, Okla. (April 25, 2011) – The Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW Outdoors, announced it will be hosting the inaugural Student Angler Federation West Virginia High School Fishing State Championship, June 25th in Marion County in the city of Fairmont. The state championship is a two person team event for students in grades 9 -12. Registration for high school anglers and their “coach,” who will provide the boat they compete in, is online at
Hood River, OR (4/28/11) – Calm winds this morning helped the federation anglers get to their fishing spots with ease on day 2 of the 2011 Northwest Division Championship, presented by Cabelas. Later today will be a different story as the weather forecast calls for high winds in the afternoon. Weigh-in will begin at 2:30 PM pacific standard time. Weigh-ins are free and open to the public at Hood River Marina.
