Nick Albano 1st Place fishOctober 29th, Calcium NY….  On October 27th New York The Bass Federation (NY TBF) held their 2014 Early Bird tournament on Oneida Lake with their base of operations out of Oneida Shores Park in Brewerton NY. The first significant cold front of the fall season hit the area and sat over the lake for a three day period before the tournament. This weather front resulted in a 12 degree drop in water temperature and added yet another facet for anglers to consider when formulating their game plans for this fishery. Continue reading

BOBBY WILLIAMS WINS LAKE CHAMPLAIN STATE TEAM QUALIFIER TOURNAMENT WITH 35.35 LBS

DCIM100SPORTOctober 15th, Calcium NY….  On October 12-13th The Bass Federation (TBF) held their annual State Team Qualifier (STQ) tournament on Lake Champlain with their base of operations out of Port Henry. Weather conditions were stable for three days leading into the event to include day one. However, day two the big lake showed her colors as Mother Nature produced sustained SSE winds of 8-15 mph. 2013 Dream Team National Championship Crowned Bayless, Mohwish on Sturgeon Bay

Dream team tournaments were held locally last year and the first of 2013 to qualify two manDreamTeam teams for the Dream Team National Championship.  Teams traveled from across the US to compete for the first dream team champion titles and a new Ranger z178 Aluminum boat powered by a 60hp Evinrude Outboard.  The championship was held October 2-4 on Sturgeon Bay in Sturgeon Bay, Wisc., launching out of Sawyer’s Park. 2014 Federation National Championship Returns to Oklahoma’s Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees!

 

Federation2012-200Ponca City, Okla. – October 8, 2013 – The Bass Federation, announced today the Grand Lake Association and the city of Grove, Okla., will once again host the TBF Federation National Championship. The event will be held April 7-12, on Grand Lake.  Only the best anglers from each US state federation, the Association of Collegiate Anglers National Champions and the Canadian Champions earn a slot at the national contest.
