TBF Junior Anglers

One of the oldest and most productive programs that the Bass Federation has ever had is the TBF Junior Angler Program.

In this program young anglers from 11-15 are members of an active junior fishing clubs that are sponsored by TBF adult Bass Clubs. We have active state Junior Programs in 40 states across the country.

These junior anglers fish in club tournaments and participate in fundraising and conservation projects just like the adults do.

The competitive branch of this program allows the anglers to qualify for their states Junior State Championship and eventually qualify for the TBF Junior World Championship.

The JWC is the premier junior fishing tournament in the world and it is held each year in conjunction with the Forest Wood Cup which is Professional Fishing richest event.

Junior Anglers are treated to 4 days of action packed events which include a series of educational seminars, a 2 day tournament format and complete access to the Fun Zone and the FLW Cup Event.

If you’re interested in getting involved, see our “How to” page on how to start a Junior Club, or contact us for more information on the Junior Angler Program in your state.
